Because the studios refuse to spend the money to get 13-26 episodes over a normal span of time. At least these 8 eps will probably be like 6 hours long if season 4 was any guide.

It’s funny how it kinda spread to the rest of my thinking. The idea that nearly all things can be fixed, you just have to think about the problem in the right way. Not always gonna be a tech fix, that can make things worse. But there’s a fix. We just need the will to do it.
