I thanked him. I thanked him for crossing a lane… To your parents who raised you and for you for being a good man! Than you!

Behind me put me on edge. Held on tightly to my mobile and keys. He crossed the lane to the other side. No footpath there, but plenty of traffic. Dangerous for him. We met again when we both arrived in the shop.

Strange statement from the dentist. It can be a mix of both for sure, mutually exclusive doesn’t apply here. Sensitive gums (to the extend of swollen and even bleeding) are a known occurrence/symptom due to hormonal changes during pregnancy. Most of my friends had that very problem.

Thank you for all the work creating and growing both accounts, here, and esp. on the other platform for all that time. You did so much, helping people to connect and learn about each other. You created an amazing community and space. ā¤ļøYou deserve a good break. X

Oh no! We, partner and his kids, are all working on our crimbo movies selection, and this one is my top choice this year. Now I am worried the stepchildren won’t like it and it’s one of my favourites šŸ˜…

I wonder what would happen if Britain moved to proportional representation.

She is. And ā€˜flirts’ with the AFD..

She decides who can become a member. Gets herself involved in local government (BundeslƤnder) affairs. Nothing democratic about it at all

Yes. It’s not even a real party in my opinion. BSW literally is an abbreviation of her name, Bündnis (alliance) Sahra Wagenknecht. She wants the GDR back. Populist, nationalist. Eurosceptic. Russophilic.

Now we have a full culture war, nearly all parties against the greens. And your system is different ofc, but I worry about Reform…

Difficult to say. I see similarities between Britain and Germany. CDU governed, sure in coalitions, for so long. They run out of ideas. Same for the Tories. That’s what helped Scholz, and a matured Green Party in Germany in the last GE.

So in short. Nothing to do with East vs. West šŸ‡©šŸ‡Ŗ for once at least. It will, already is, populist. Rather than based on facing facts and today’s challenges. šŸ˜”

During the camping ofc, should use Ukraine for electioneering..
comment in response to post
That’s scary. The CDU is following the Tory/Maga populist playbook. Even more scary. And Scholz.. well he is scholzing along. Portraying himself as the chancellor for peace. Stirring up fears about nuclear war because of the war in Ukraine. When he also said, no party dying the campaign should

It will be a short campaign. The disgrace, and blame, how the collation came to an end lies with one party only. In the East or West. Nothing to do with that. The far right AFD and far left BSW might as well be just one. Both parties Putin explainers and supporters.

Yes, young ones too, sadly. Who don’t remember or never experienced/ learned what it was actually like to grow up in a dictatorship. Not exactly a lot of time spent on this in history classes when I grew up. I don’t think that was Helene’s point though.

A little. It’s nice over here. I actually see posts from accounts I follow again! It does feel a bit like an echo chamber though. Don’t want the crazies here. But I did follow some accounts I didn’t necessarily agree with just for a different perspective, just to challenge my own thinking etc.
