I think it’s perhaps a decision to give a big FU to Pete Rose from beyond the grave.

I wish the U.S. had a deeply engrained tradition of quiet cabins on public transit, because the way in which some cities would informally enforce that would be hilarious (looking at you Philly)

What ages is this recommended for? I’ve been dying to find my niece and nephew a good avenue into comics

Does JD Vance even have a competent understanding of what a “nation” would be?

Any comments on Mobray’s sacking at West Brom and whether you have confidence in Bilkul football group to pick a strong candidate for the job? Perhaps some thoughts on how they have done in general with recruitment, finances and day to day running of the club since the takeover?

I vaguely remember reading something to the effect that immediate postwar American investment in NATO allowed European countries to focus less of their GDP on defense and invest in social programs like universal healthcare. That said I doubt these far right folks know or understand that argument 🤷🏼‍♂️

since the book is a few years old I decided to evaluate it on how well it pointed towards the future of scholarship on the Habsburgs and Central European history in general. A bit different approach for me for a post but it was fun to write #history #Habsburgs #CentralEurope #books

Is this bad enough for Madrid to second guess him as the heir apparent to Ancelotti?

Excellent, now I’ll just keep my fingers crossed for a Matthias Sindelar biography after that

I assume there’s a joke somewhere in this post about building on solid foundations or escaping unbalanced squad structures

Can’t decide if the placement on the book titled “Babel” within that stack is meant to make a statement or not 🤔
