Fun fact: Whenever you reply with decorum to a post on a liberal's wall on BSky when they say something insulting like this, they almost always block you from even seeing their posts. This is their version of America—a complete groupthink echo chamber censorfest.

I'm gonna have to start winnowing my more florid expressions to simple speak it seems. I'm getting called out or blocked by people who take my expressive vocabulary as showy and find it to be distasteful. I was only trying to be double plus good at saying stuff.

I am incredibly unhappy that the default reaction to sentences longer than 10 words, with moderately above average use of vocabulary, is someone saying "you are just trying to sound as smart as you can." I feel it's actually a handicap to have language skills. Communication is bad?

It is so strange how many people on BlueSky spend their time trying to avoid a discussion rather than actually having it. It is some of the most childish banter I've ever had, and I've been in some of the worst, anti-semitic, alt-right chatrooms. The horse blinders on avg BS users are very similar.
