One thing I've noticed about new programmers (and sadly some veterans too) is that when they get errors or compile errors they don't even bother to read the message. Understanding error messages and what they're are attempting to communicate is a crucial skill to develop. Don't just Google it.

25 hours and 60 days and I rolled credits on Blue Prince. Now there's some extra puzzles I couldn't figure out, so I guess I focus on those now if the RNG allows.

24 hours of playtime (58 days) in Blue Prince and I seem to have gotten my "a-ha" moment. I think it was worth the tedium and fighting against the RNG.

12 or so hours into Blue Prince. Feels like a real uneven rollercoaster of waiting for RNG to give you the room you need for that next hint to fuel the next few hours. The high points are neat and interesting. The low points feel padded and boring. Still not sure what to make of it.

The funny thing about watching the Switch 2 direct with the kids was that right after cringing through the GameChat reveal my thoughts were "nah, not for me. The kids will probably enjoy that". Followed by my teens saying "nah, I'll stick to Discord".
