Nature taking care of invasive species pest control! 👏🙈

How exciting! This is great for the conservation of the species - the more individuals we are able to care for in zoos, the better able we are to make impactful change in the wild too!

This sounds great! Looking forward to seeing it and hearing more about the work!

Colossal really are doing wonders proving their concept for de-extinction! Amazing how by simply altering some genes of a similar, related modern species, we can “bring back” individuals with the same characteristics as an extinct species. They’ve created woolly mice in prep for woolly mammoths too!

This is just it - more public transport to reduce emissions is great, but to get people to use it the transport infrastructure and state needs to be greatly improved!

So sad - hopefully they have a better year in 2025, but to make that happen, true action needs to be taken! Not just at the individual and organisational level but in government and policy too

So beautiful- we had a pair appear in a local park a few weeks ago and they’ve had a baby!

Yikes - very concerning. Proves the need for vital, urgent climate action to mitigate and prevent such catastrophic impacts

Love this! We’ve just begun propagating some sunflowers, basil, tomatoes and coriander! Safe to say our eyes will be fixed on the mini greenhouse in the window for the next two weeks!

Good - it’s so distressing that such a major threat to a wonderful and important species is being almost hidden from sight. Shame to have missed this!

As lovely as a warmer, less rainy London would be… very concerning. Proper action by world nations needs to occur to halt climate change’s progress!

Thanks for reminding me about this book! It’s been on my to be read for ages but never got round to it - definitely will have to now - it’s a sign!

A major reason to bring them back (carefully)! Wolves in Scotland will be vital in reducing the overgrown red deer population, for example! And, in doing so, could help us tackle climate change!

Great to draw attention to this major issue in such an informative way!
