As a cyclist one of the absolute worst places to ride is by a school during pickup and drop off hours, it’s shocking that more kids aren’t injured/killed.

drive the speed limit anywhere you’ll get tailgated and passed, even in neighborhoods

I’m currently nursing a broken leg and if my town were more walkable I could absolutely get around via scooter or wheelchair, no problem. Instead I can’t do anything and am reliant on my wife because I cant drive either.

I like to just get what I need so they’re always perfect ripeness, it’s only 15min round trip to the grocery store.

I’m just a small part of aircargo logistics, but it’s absolutely fascinating and complex. My favorite load was a pallet of bikes from Orbea destined for my city, there’s only a couple dealers here so at least some of them ended up at my local bike shop. The world felt a little smaller that day.

I don’t give a shit if Garcia killed a man in cold blood in broad daylight in front of a dozen cameras, he still deserves due process.

I make so many more little coffee/snack trips on a whim with my bike that I’d never get in the car for.

Best part about biking to the grocery store is the journey ends up enjoyable so more smaller trips isn’t a big deal. Big weekly/semi-weekly grocery trips are wholly unnecessary.
