#scriptsky - Guardrails - is creeping up. The rise of these scripts is not projects disappearing. Quite the opposite. Here is the photo proof. More unranked projects are on the platform causing those that are ranked to have more weight. There are 10k more projects now.

#scriptsky Yesterday I wrote 3 short scripts for the @nycmidnight.bsky.social screenwriting challenge. 3 complete stories! Only one could be submitted. Their loglines follow in ranking:

Just received a “You own the town” rating by @by-storm.bsky.social with a very helpful set of no-bs notes. Thanks for the clout score of 3. #scriptsky

#scriptsky Just hit submit on the latest @nycmidnight.bsky.social Final Round. I had to sleep on the prompt: Genre: Open, Subject: no-frills, Character: Taskmaster. Good luck to all the writers who should be finishing up about now. This was a fun experiment. I wrote a Dark Comedy. Call Dad.

Imma head over and make sure my profile has the latest and greatest! Nice work Brett. I am hoping I can crack that Austin thing this year. 4 scripts with a couple add-ons!

#scriptsky Another round of feedback landing for Frozen Lies. I have another pass to tighten a couple of beats. But I think I can lock-in the second draft. This was a wild story to write.

#firstpagefriday #scriptsky -Frozen Lies- Inspired by actual events. I avoided this story for 23 years. It wasn’t until I came up with Daisy, making it hopeful, that I thought I could write it. And now- it is 3 or 4 days away from its first query.

Super excited to share that -Guardrails- has been selected as a Quarterfinalist in this year's Emerging Screenwriters -THRILLER genre. This script is a true genre-bending story. I am proud that it stood out to the judges! #scriptsky www.emergingscreenwriters.com/thriller-win...

Super excited to share A Daylong Day finished 2nd in the second Round of the #NYCMidnightSWC so it’s on to the finals! I will have one day to write a 5 page short. 1 frickin’ day! #scriptsky

My first set of notes/feedback are coming back for Frozen Lies. And I think I am onto something! #scriptsky This psychological thriller is based on actual events. A set of edits before the weekend and I start Including it in the outbound queries. I’m going to have a celebratory mocktail now.

#scriptsky just typed FADE OUT. -Frozen Lies- Based on a True Story A Psychological Thriller On a road trip with her new boyfriend, a guarded young woman uncovers unsettling cracks in his story, and must outthink a man who’s erased his past and may be planning to erase her too.

After not advancing in the 18th Annual Story Pros Award - congrats to those amazing writers who did move on. Looking at you, Sven @svenanarki.bsky.social (wrapped up as a Semifinalist, and I am proud of that), Guardrails [email protected] Red List. Reaching #20 Feature Sci-fi. #scriptsky

#scriptsky my bad guy was bothering me so much I fixed it with a strong counter we can root for! This is Dusty Guinn -

#scriptchat so- I have started writing a really dark character that I find having to take frequent breaks from. Anyone else feel the darkness/creep when writing in areas you don’t visit often? #scriptsky

#scriptchat (messing with the algorithm. ) May was fun. 4 of my projects made some waves. #scriptsky
