I saw a movie last night with a 7PM showtime, and thanks to various pre-trailer ads and several post-trailer bumpers, the actual movie didn’t start until 7:28PM… Now today the AMC app warns movies may start up to 30 minutes after the posted showtime 😩 @amctheatres.bsky.social that’s nuts!!!!

Compton, CA: A masked, heavily-armed man wearing body armor jumped out of a SUV today to kidnap a local resident. He forgot to put the vehicle in park, causing it to roll down the street damaging other cars. He jumped in the vehicle (which had no platess) and drove off without identifying himself.

People should stop telling each other to call the cops on ICE as some sort of “gotcha.” The cops are not on our side. We’ve seen in Downtown LA that they will happily take up arms against civilians to protect ICE. All you’re doing is increasing the number of people with guns who might shoot you.
