Infuriating, I'd say.

Why are there WW2 tanks? I thought America had big modern ones.

There'll be more next year - when Trump will make it compulsory to attend.

The gunman dressed in police uniform and driving a police car. Who would do such a thing?

Every time he's under pressure he starts shouting over the reporter and breaks into a sweat. His body language shows he knows he's a propagandist.

I haven't seen Kamm write those words but I'm sure he and I wouldn't disagree with you.
comment in response to post
Maybe, but did you have a usage column in the London Times?

Liberals have the cleverest protest slogans.

I used to think that but according to Oliver Kamm's usage guide "Accidence Will Happen" the words are interchangeable so it doesn't matter which word is used. I hate to admit that she's right but I don't think she is aware that she is.

But after the Budget Bill it seems there is nothing the courts can do to enforce any of their rulings. Which means he wins no matter what.

And if Trump ignores the rulings?

Probably a relief for the former president. Would you want to, really?

They're still terrified of the Red Wall.

Isn't it funny how most of the world now agrees with China?

"I think your reply is so rude", said I to Mr Trump. The reporter's question was perfectly legitimate and one to which most of us would like an answer.

You'll be better off sticking with the EU as a solid negotiating bloc instead of being peeled off to try and go alone. Germany and Italy are wrong to do their own thing together with Starmer. Trump doesn't respect desperation, he only respects strength. Be a Canada not a Britain.

Survival seems to be a matter of luck. Perhaps it's better they can't, as far as we know, think of the future.

Note the lack of concern from Russia about America's push to take Greenland. In return America is pushing Russia's steal of Ukraine. They then share the spoils.

Forget Switzerland, the EU doesn't want a hodgepodge of agreements over every type of product. But there is a deal closer to home, in the Northern Ireland protocols. With those, NI has bucked the trend in the UK with higher growth, full employment, fuller shop shelves and better access to medicines.

The painter is the younger Brueghel. I don't know the author reference.

We Europeans don't generally these days deport child cancer sufferers, ban words or books, evict reporters from press conferences or betray allies. So there's that.
