The best advert for encouraging your kids to read from an early age. His feeble mind continues to plumb new depths of thick.

It’s the new Dark Ages with the fascists toting bibles,
Cheap nostalgia for the Salem Witch Trials.

If the purpose is to truly act in the public interest by educating viewers/listeners (through factual analysis & reporting) that Reform is all fur coat and nae knickers, then I’m all for it. Given the BBC track record on public interest and independence, I doubt it.

Great single. Got ‘The First Of Too Many’ on its release (top album) and had the ‘Pop Kid’ t-shirt.

It's a bit off-kilter with the two saxophones and Klaus on clarinet but weirdly, seems to work.

Yeah, the mondegreen is ‘key to’ rather than ‘genie of’. I had Earth A.D./Wolfs Blood on cassette and I’m pretty sure ‘genie’ is in the lyrics sheet.

Yes, I put it in the same bucket as their 'Viva Las Vegas' effort. They have their fans but it's not for me.

My fave Aussie band. They’re still going strong. Well, Knighty with Macca and Dean for the last 20 years.

Superb! I’m jealous as I don’t think they’ll do any more shows outside of the US.

Thanks, I’ll have a look. The only thing I’ve seen from the show so far was the guy with the SS shirt getting hounded out of the venue, with ‘Jealous Again’ (Keith) and ‘I’ve Heard It Before’ (Dez) playing in the background.

Saw a long-haired Dez playing guitar for the Jerry Only Misfits at the Liquid Rooms in Edinburgh. Would love to catch FLAG.

Does the offer have an expiry date? I should be back in Melbourne for 12.30 sometime in 2027.

Definitely a hardcore punk classic. I do like the slightly disparaging line on ‘No More Gigs’: “all the money that they spend on David Bowie LPs”. Every time Bowie wins another music poll, the line pops into my head.

Let's squeeze as much money out of the game as we can. The Cup Winners' Cup just wasn't cutting it; too much romance, not enough cash.

Infantile. Although maybe Hegseth's a scholar of Old English working on a new translation of Beowulf and needs more compound words to go with his 'war-gear'.
