In Essex for the CT Sea Music Festival watching the Johnson Girls (love them!!) while waiting for Johann to perform. If you’re in CT you really should check it out. Runs rest of today and tomorrow. One of premiere US annual sea music festivals, first full weekend of June every year.

2 totally different approaches to same problem. I give pups treats in puzzle toys - mixed in with themed small stuffed animals are beggin strips, milk bones, and pigs ears. One dog pulls out each toy and then eats any snacks freed up. The other jams their snout in and snuffles around for the goodies

I love Avery Point campus of UConn, a lot of history and - for me - good times. Just before and during WWII it was a coast guard training station. On the western side of the point along the Thames River mouth is a a small burial site for Duffy "BM 1/c USCG" the stray bulldog adopted as mascot.

Whole reason I was on campus today was to take the dogs … it’s easily one of Grace’s favorite places (she grew up going there at least weekly) and to get Mac down there again (it’s been 9months for him) Grace is the smaller border collie and Mac is the taller black lab.
