I don’t go out of my way to talk Sox baseball but I have to be honest, the Six have a really good pitching staff. These kids are solid and if they can add some more talent this team will be back to playing respectable baseball as early as next season.

I think a couple things happened:
1: Letdown coming off a huge weekend winning 2/3 vs Cincinnati in Cincy with 2 huge comeback wins.
2: Lack of motivation vs the 9 win Rockie
3: The weather has sucked. It’s almost June and it’s 50?
Next week Cubs will be in DC & it’s supposed to be hot in Chicago.

Cub struggling once again. Maybe the offense is coming back down to earth. If that’s the case, the Cubs are in trouble. They don have enough pitching to survive a hitting slump.

It’s up to Counsell to make sure they don’t but if what I’ve seen of this guy he’s invisible. Seiya continues to get screwed by HPU’s but Counsell is quiet. Have you see his postgame pressers? My God, it’s like he’s lost every game. He’s never energized, or full of life. He’s so boring.

Shit show!!! That’s what you deserve not having a closer. 2nd straight year Jed Hoyer fails to find a closer and now Hoge is hurt so we get Palencia. Cubs BP is gonna blow a bunch of games like last season and come up short because Hoyer is too cheap to sign a legitimate closer.

They got lucky they played the Marlin. Turner has been terrible but the Marlin closer left a ball up so Turner could turn on it. A good team with a quality closer retire Turner easily. Miami would have been better served staying with their set up pitcher. He was really good.

It’s not broken. Some guys are in huge slumps. Kyle Tucker is hitting under .219 for the last 3+ weeks. Need his bat to get hot. Getting nothing at all from 3B. The base stealing has slowed to a halt. When they were aggressive they scored a lot of runs. No clue why they stopped.

Everyone of these people went through and passed basic training. They learned how to handle a weapon. They learned how to defend themselves. They learned how to be a SOLDIER. Shame on the Trump Administration. God Bless these troops!
