There have been so many allegations against this guy, why is he still allowed to coach?

In other news, Mura has been supposedly kicked out of Angels of Plushenko. However, her resignation letter asks them to dismiss her.

You Young has been re-instated by the KSU, and is eligible for the national team.

It's time to clear some nonsense that has been so endlessly repeated that it seems to be canon to people. The Hegelian Dialectic is **NOT** Problem, reaction, solution. That's some bullshit David Icke, if he didn't invent himself, has been endlessly repeating.

I watched the women's SP on Wed, and it was so depressing that I haven't posted anything. The YT live stream is geo-blocked here in Canada, so I'm watching on CBC which does not provide individual videos except for our Canadians and the leader.

theres this sharp divide among heroic-age arctic explorers between those who scorned inuit knowledge about ice survival (scott, greely) vs those who didn't (amundsen, parry) and boy a lotta people died (in both camps but the first camp, like, more)

The problem: In the 2021-2022 season, three Sofia's made their Junior Grand Prix (JGP) debut: Sofia Akatieva, Sofia Muravieva, Sofia Samodelkina. All three were attempting quads. How to avoid confusion between not only these Sofias, but all the other Sofias in figure skating.

I'm not sure what to do with this Bluesky account. The 300 character limit and lack of groups or pages makes any meaningful discussion of magick or esoteric subjects effectively impossible. I guess this means that this is mainly going to be about figure skating, primarily the women.

While you're waiting for Worlds, why not review this season with this playlist. Be sure to read the playlist description for more information. (At least YT has a more generous character limit than 300.)

At a recent competition in Russia where the skaters were broken up into 3 teams to compete for fun, Kostyleva landed the following: 3A-3T +2.24 3A +2.00 4T -1.27 4S-2A x +3.10 4S-Eu-3S x +2.72 And then fell on a 3Lz GOE taken from the ticker box on screen, not protocols.

I just finished watching the womens FS of the latest stage of the Russian GP. In what must be a major upset, Anna Frolova wins the 🥇. Gorbacheva sort of lands the only quad in the FS and wins 🥈, Kat the 🥉, while my girl Mura comes in 4th.

Remember that Tims has been an American corporation for years now. It is no longer an Icon of Canadiana. Let's make Tim's such a money losing sinkhole for Burger King that they end up selling it back to Canadian shareholders for less than they paid for it.

I just realized Agata Petrova is Mishin's skater. She finished just off the podium here after a less than stellar SP but clean FS. With no Ultra-C elements she finished behind those juniors with such. Wunderkind Kostyleva came in 2nd behind Alisa Dvoeglazova, the reverse of the previous comp.

Re the ISU's Best Newcomer award: Anna Pezzetta and Chae-yeon are not newcomers, they have competed as seniors in Challenger events in previous years, and Mone just did her 3rd 4CC. I don't know why their names keep coming up.

This skater has only come to my attention in the last month. Ksenia Gushchina has been remarkably consistent in this short time. She placed 3rd in the SP here, and 3rd overall behind Adelia and Dariah Sadkova. I was hoping she would beat Sadkova...
