Absolutely. We should always start with the assumption that borders should be completely open, and anyone who wishes to restrict immigration must first articulate why.

Last night, my wife told my LGBTQ child not to throw bricks at police. After dinner, I showed them your post. I still hope they don't throw them at police (for safety's sake), but it would be awesome.

Did you know there's a National Park for comparative semiticist hip hop? Yo semite.

This is amazing. You've inspired me to do the same for my ties next year.

Only in contemporary English. Historically, it was, "I'm bare-assing."

You could roll dice to select medications. I've been through enough medications to know there's a certain random element to picking the best one.

The author must also have no understanding of irony, since Lischinsky and Milgram were regularly attending an Episcopal church.

Yes, it's weird, but in a Tim sort of way. Not in a JD sort of way.

Or perhaps a nod to Italian Fascism, "Il Douce"

If they're not claiming the T stands for Tesla, they're not trying.

Someone in the area drives a cybertruck with the license plate, "AH." It's helpful if them to advertise their personality.

Do you promise to pull the tooth, the whole tooth, and nothing but the tooth?

I loved that book, and my kids loved the one with Elmo. My anxiety didn't kick in until my teens.

Awesome. Is it all there? I still have mine from 1983.

My autism didn't give me dyscalculia, but it did give me dysbotanalia. I understand numbers intuitively, but I am completely lost when it comes to plants.

The Christian Sabbath is Saturday. Jesus rose on the First day of the week.

You should be proud of both yourself and your child. It's hard enough for a neurotypical kid post Covid. ND kids have even more challenges.

Casey's is, without a doubt, the best pizza chain in America.
comment in response to post
Casey's is not a gas station that sells pizza. It's a pizza chain that sells gas, age it's prices are great for whole pizzas.

I've been there with 2 kids, but they're slowly launching. Hang in there.

My sister in law works at St Michael and St George on Wydown. Every car on one side of the street was totaled, but no cars were harmed on the other side.

I didn't notice the typo until after I had given out my final.

People have different perceptions of blue, but everyone has the exact same perception of "wine dark."

It's probably a thing on small social media where the programmers haven't thought to block it yet.

I'm sure someone can figure out a way to use a gif for your profile picture.

What are they? I'm laid up in a chair for a month with a ruptured Achilles tendon.

That's impressive. I would have expected opt-in polls to be worse.

For the past 15 years, I've taught math in Orthodox Jewish, Roman Catholic, and Evangelical Protestant high schools. Not one of them had the 10 Commandments posted in any classroom.

I would suspect people would wait at least a year for serious dating. Most people would at least consider hooking up at 1-2 months. Grief makes people horny.

Did you drive past the cathedral in your way home from graduation? One of the Rosati-Kain sophomores was there at graduation carrying a banner even though her home and family's business are wrecked.

Yesterday, they planned to test the sirens again to get the FD button working. It didn't work. Today, the sirens worked. I really hope it was the FD button.
comment in response to post
Here's what I think is going on. There are two tornado buttons: one in emergency management and one in the fire department. Last Wednesday, they tested the sirens using the EM button, and they worked. Friday, EM people were out, so they called the FD to push the button. It didn't work.

I didn't hear them in the CWE next to the cathedral either last Wednesday or Friday.

I almost totally lack any ability to identify plants, so I made up in my mind what kind of "medicine" each one would contain. I was proctoring one last student taking her final, so I was definitely contemplating taking some extra "medicine."

Leave it. All I can see is, "Supporting Autistic Clients," which at least can be a penis joke.
