I have no idea whether that empire existed or not. However, it's not a presence of Turkic influenced languages there. They speak Turkish.

I am eternally grateful for my London secondary school history education 1971 - 1977. We did the (re)unification of Italy and Germany until after the First World War. I feel much better able to understand the world around me as a consequence. Mr Smith was a hero!
