Someone on twitter made the very valid point that once it's challenged in Oklahoma it can get passed up to the Supreme Court, who will undoubtedly rule in favor of republicans and make their decision precedent nationwide, including in state cases.

Yep. Cops want to screw with you? Your plane has a layover in a red state? They just have to search your phone on "suspicion of possessing porn". Virtually anything can be interpreted as such with puritan extremism goggles on.

Important to point out that Florida's state government is dominated by Republicans. Democrats haven't held governorship or either house since 1999. Republicans have veto-proof majorities in both houses.
