Good morning Womble! This week I read the plant horror books "Overgrowth" by Mira Grant (alien plant people invasion) and "Inhospitable" by Ali Seay (plant monster rural horror). They're very different yet make an excellent duo!

😂 I did once go out to grab a squash to make an omelet for breakfast and found one that had somehow escaped notice and was at least six inches thick!

Also, caramelized onions, like every other member of the onion family except mysteriously garlic, started out as "meh" to me and then within three tries became *disgusting*. Onion-type-items kind of smell and taste like sulfur to me, *and* I dislike the texture.

I used to grow zucchini and summer squash when I lived in NH and had a garden! They are, in fact, ridiculously easy to grow.

I always get the "but have you tried caramelized onions??" just the way Captain Awkward has someone saying "if you just tried *good* honeydew..."

I guess I make up for liking honeydew by hating onions, leeks, scallions, and shallots.

I'm the only person I know who actually likes honeydew.
