I am really intrigued by Whoop. Waiting for the new gen to launch in India. I think I’ll buy it.

I downloaded Dia browser today. So far just feels like Chrome and nothing really stands out. I miss all of the smart touches that they had to their browser on Arc, that made the look and feel, much better than a standard browser.

🤷🏻‍♂️

Liquid Glass feels like an arbitrary design choice, change for the sake of change, without any real insight behind it?

Microsoft Copilot looks fantastic! Microsoft and Google are so far ahead of Apple at this. www.youtube.com/watc...

Clean Email is a fantastic service. Its so good, you make me write a blog post about it.

Bear has also announced (a while ago, I missed it) that the web version has entered beta! This is super exciting. I already use Bear and this is exactly what I wanted.

After taking a break from social media for a few months, one thing I like about Threads is that it has the least amount of political posts, and I am really liking that.

OMG! Mem 2.0 export finally saves each note as a separate markdown file! That was the only thing holding me back. With 2.0 stable and reliable, I’m ready to switch back!

I stopped following American tech journalists on social media because they endlessly post about American politics, negative, toxic content, all day, every day. As a non-American, I have no interest in it, yet it dominates their feeds. It’s exhausting and just too much.

I don’t want to deal with managing WhatsApp backups. I wish it had fully cloud-based storage, I’d even pay a premium subscription for it. The multi-device sync is a terrible experience, and native cloud based storage would solve that too.

This is so good! I love Cloudflare and what it does for the Internet. www.theverge.com/new...

Notion Mail looks really good! But Gmail only :(

It's dumb that I have to use Google Workspace for using a custom domain email and it's not a feature of Google One.

I’ve pretty much stopped consuming social media, though I still post through an external service. X is the only one I still check for football since I haven’t found a good alternative, but I might drop that soon too—let’s see.

Against popular opinion but, X is still a very valuable resource to me, for tech industry and regional news.

I logged into Social Media today after several weeks and I think its safe to say that, X and Bluesky is where it is. Most people I want to follow are there. Threads and Mastodon are no longer needed for me, as I am not missing much.

I haven’t been using Social Media for while now, and honestly, it feels so much better. I admit, still have FOMO, not sure how to get rid of it completely. Also, I still haven’t found enough alternative sources to still be fully updated with the news. Still struggling with this.

I follow The Verge’s RSS feed, but they’re so focused on writing about politics that there isn’t a single post about DeepSeek. I am truly shocked. I need to add more sources to my feed to not miss important news like this.

If you curate your following and just use the following feed and not use the for you or discover feeds, social media is much more palatable.

The Apple Magic Mouse 2 is so slow to connect to Macbooks once turned on. It takes almost 5-10s. Logitech Mice connect instantly.

Why is The Verge posting so much political news? So many of them or not even tech or tech adjacent.

I discovered an excellent Safari extension that removes distracting elements from social media sites. From now on, I'll use only web apps for social media, so that I can customize and eliminate unwanted parts of the experience.

Sometimes I feel that, I just want to delete all my social media accounts and just keep Mastodon. It’s probably the only platform which cannot be pressured into doing things, so. If only everyone I wanted to follow was also on Mastodon.

Notion is quietly putting together a solid suite of business tools —Notion, Calendar, and Mail. Maybe Campsite is next? Microsoft feels too corporate for small businesses, so it’s great to see some real competition for Google here.

I removed the phone case and my two year old phone feels so new. I have forgotten how good a naked iPhone feels to use. The phone feels so good to hold. I wish I could use it like this.

I would delete all social media apps on my phone but not YouTube.

I have stopped Fediverse sharing on Threads. Having this turned on and having a Mastodon account that I cross post to doesn’t make sense. I have to let go of one and I chose this.

My two month experiment with Readwise Reader is over. Trying to keep up with all the RSS feeds and newsletters felt very overwhelming, much like social media. It’s taking too much of my energy. I am just going to stop reading all of them and just focus on my active project.

Not happy with Claude Pro. I can hardly use it for 10-15 mins before the limits hit and then you cannot use it for several hours. This doesn't work for me at all. I cancelled my subscription. Is it the same with ChatGPT too?

Using X, Threads, Bluesky, or Mastodon always leaves me annoyed, frustrated, and helpless. Yet, I can’t figure out why I keep going back. Instagram and YouTube, at least, don’t ruin my mood as much

I don’t like it when some creators accept sponsorships and promote tools like this one which harm other creators.
