Stayed up too late because I decided to play a few more maps in Pina Colada, a Doom II WAD where the gimmick is hard maps with no more than 75 enemies. Which sounds similar to a lot of Plutonia on the surface, but the design of the encounters is much more Sunlust-influenced.

I don't know how the Elon Musk stuff is inspiring anything but total cynicism. The Dems are already rolling the red carpet back out for him. That sound you hear is all the "I bought this before he went crazy" stickers being peeled off Teslas. He's going to be on stage with Newsom and Torres.

One of the best things about guerrilla interventions like this is that they prove that cities can act fast *when they want to.* A man used spray chalk to mark a crosswalk on a street. The city responded almost immediately and covered it up with black paint to restore the status quo.

Watched the latest Silent Hill f trailer and while there's a chance this might be a decent enough horror game... it's not Silent Hill. They just slapped that name on it to exploit people's lingering nostalgia, in the hopes we'll just forget they shitcanned what could have been a true series revival.

Clarification on this: the artist name is printed as "Sophie" and not "SOPHIE" on the cover art. Obviously it's uploaded under SOPHIE's profile on Spotify and is even getting promoted to listeners via the algorithm as a new release from her, which is how I found it (on the app's front page!).

So we've got a big one in the fake music category today: an alleged new SOPHIE song that is clearly NOT an actual song from her unreleased recordings, because neither the singer nor the instrumentation bear the slightest resemblance to anything she ever did.
