I mean, let's face it, you could post any random one and hardly tell the difference.

I'm not a writer at all, so just making an outside observation. This post and all the responses to it seem like a mirror image of the post you're criticizing. Both sound to my ignorant ears like an agenda in search of an argument.

Also the Old Republic, somehow with *less cartoonish* villains than we have now.

Was looking to see if anyone said this one. I'm sure it wouldn't hold up, but when I saw it I really enjoyed it.

*Elite* cadre of dumbasses.

They have assembled a crack team of dumbasses far beyond anything known to man.

Huh. I'm from Hawaii and currently live in Texas, and I'm surprised you can do 7 hours on the mainland. I would have guessed 6.

Thank goodness Dallas fans don't have to watch this non-championship attitude.

I know, right?! That had to be on purpose. Create some narrative, maybe it gets people to try harder. Maybe the old guys don't want to get embarrassed.

someone else said somewhere, it's also relationship building by the GM. get used to working with people, like we did with SAC earlier this year. doesn't hurt when it comes time for a real trade.

The Hornets GM deployed the brilliant and little-seen strategy of asking for "more" instead of "less". Totally blindsided Pelinka.

Hahahaha Mavs fans have got to be screaming, "That's our stuff! Give us our stuff!"
Nico Harrison, ladies and gentlemen.

Yes Nico, your highly trustworthy friend Rob is the only person that can help you keep this a secret. Gooooooood, goooooood.

Maybe you'll turn out to be right. But as you said, they should have gotten way more! Meaning Nico Harrison was about the only person in the basketball world that valued him that low.

I mean, sure. We now know that the media rated Luka higher than the Mavs FO. I don't think the conclusion here is "haha, these media guys don't know ball".

You don't without a superduperstar. If you're not going to pay Luka, who are you going to pay? And how are you going to get this person when you've already given away all your picks for the next 5 years? You *have* to turn him into an absurd number of picks, and they chose to trade him in secret.

Kinda feels like there should be a law about buying a political appointment.

PSA: the jokes write themselves, but block-don't-reply is what will keep bluesky a better place.

This. Clearly experimenting. Going small then having Jeremy on Harden (at half-court!) is inviting Zu to feast. But you need to see it. Maybe you bait them into going to their 4th best scorer. Maybe we can gang rebound. Maybe we score enough to counteract. Find out more about who you need next.

We are all sadly familiar with this situation in SA.

Imagine voting for Trump...period. A guy that spends his time posting like this and the rest stewing over which grievance to post about next.
And this is just the clown part! Not the dangerous part, or the incredibly dangerous people enabling him part.

Yes, absolutely. Like 1000s of years ago. People will always be this way. Raging about it doesn't get us anywhere. Anyone that can lead others carries enormous potential for good or evil.

And tens of millions didn't watch the rally. Sitting around hating millions of people you know virtually nothing about is poison to your soul. I know Trump voters that spend all their time serving others. I don't trust their judgement, but they're objectively more deserving of kindness than I am.
comment in response to

Lumping millions of people into "they" accomplishes nothing. Most people aren't even on social media and barely follow the news. There's no point in hating your grandma for falling for the con. Always keep the focus on the leaders, the con artists, and the profiteers.

I thought of this same joke, only who they were trying to switch away from on defense. Secret weapon!

Yeah, more and more I feel like he's good at lots of things but not great at anything, and that invites an unfair amount of criticism.
Great team attitude too.

We just all have to pretend it matters, and then it's more fun. It may be dumb, but it works.
