Folks are acting like the problem here is that this is going to spark WWIII. The actual problems are the erosion of legal authorities surrounding use of force, nuclear material in the wild, and just a continuous drag on US resources bc this won’t solve anything.

Violating international law really only matters insofar as it has consequences for people. It is better to live in a world where leaders think aggressive war is illegitimate. The alternative is an even greater nightmare, somehow.

A few years ago at a supermarket I heard an easy listening cover of the Super Mario Land track that plays in the Muda Kingdom. Only time I heard a game track in such settings - also, it must have had something to do with the fact that SML was already over 30 years old.

Não tenho a certeza mas acho que quando eu lá andava não podíamos ver as respostas dos outros - mas o site comparava-nos e dizia por exemplo que aquela pessoa era "more outgoing", "less kinky", etc.
Lembro-me de ter conversas muito fixes com uma brit e uma ucraniana.

Pelo que me lembro, nós respondíamos a perguntas e quando visitávamos o perfil de alguém, o OKC mostrava-nos o nível de 'match' e 'friend match' com aquela pessoa com base nas nossas respostas.

The damage caused by Trump will be extremely difficult to repair, not only because of the organizational chaos that it's inflicting but because the world will be different in 4 years, and it will not be willing to engage with the US as it was before.

O plano de invasão do parlamento é copiado de Trump, de Bolsonaro e da extrema-direita alemã. Uma vez que invadir & ocupar a AR não coloca ninguém no poder, os únicos propósitos seriam ganhar atenção e provocar violência.
