So here’s the thing. Yes I grew up Christian as an escape from home. However; you do not know the extent of my religious research, or why I have the opinions I do. I vehemently believe being told what to do and how to live is oppression. All religions are oppressive in some fashion.

I don’t believe in any gods. I’m against organized religion in general. Not only do religious oppress those not in charge, they dismiss women, blame women for their sins, beat and kill women for having an opinion. I had the “Christian” marriage. OPPRESSION!

Well as a woman, it’s ALWAYS been about oppression and control. Even the Jewish religion controls women. So no I won’t agree with you. Religion is oppression. If you’d like me to start quoting verses I’ll happily point out oppression in the religious texts. I’ll take my knowledge from science.

Religion is most definitely oppression. A little history lesson may be in order. I suggest reading up on the history of Christianity. It’s #1 goal is to control the masses. Do this or go to hell. Yeah no thanks. I don’t believe in imaginary friends or being oppressed for eternity.
