Retired history teacher. One of the first to ask, "Who would vote for Trump?" Won't forget or forgive those actively working to destroy our democracy and those who voted to give them the opportunity.

Notice which country's citizens have the least confidence. Been there, done that.

I, of course, do not know why Trump is leaving, but the fact that he has the attention span of a dead nat and only has interest in meetings where he receives praise and an opportunity to make money could be contributing factors.

Resting his eyes, no doubt

It's another great example of projection and distraction on the part of Trump and his administration. Few are more sick of mind and have less interest in doing what is best for the United States and the world than Trump and those who support him.

Seriously, can anything about a Trump nominee and lying be considered bizarre? Remember, his nominees were selected because they are a close match to Trump's own mold. Trump lies when he would clearly be better off being truthful. His nominees simply follow suit.

All around the country and the world people had fingers crossed for torrential rain and lightning.

The reason she should be fired is the very reason she will not be fired. Those who are nuts, are without a moral conscience, and are willing to lie, violate the law and the Constitution are the only individuals welcome in the Trump administration. Their evilness mirrors Trump's own.

Protestors could purchase a lookalike vest on Amazon, cover their faces like ICE, carry large squirt guns in a bright green or orange color (not to be mistaken for real) and have visible identification that reads Defender of Democracy. It could be considered a peaceful mocking of the ICE clowns.

Quiet is better than nothing, but will they ever admit they made a mistake? I doubt it because if they acknowledge how horrible Trump is, they will have to acknowledge something equally horrible about themselves.

Cats don't obey ever. Sometimes, we pretend that they do when actually they are simply doing what they desire.

No one is making them look stupid, they are stupid. Some suggest their words and actions are the result of the Dunning-Kruger efect.

A country's citizens pay a high price, monetarily and otherwise, when a man of marginal intelligence and limited knowledge holds the highest position in the land.

Hey, but let's focus on the fact that the FBI reopened the investigation into cocaine found at the WH during the Biben era.

A reporter should ask her if she is willing to give up her cushy job lying in order to train for a position as an electrician or a plumber.

There is a difference between being oblivious and not caring. Trump simply does not care. No matter what happens to the economy, Trump believes he will be okay. As always, his one and only interest is himself.

Let's be clear. The Army has no money other than that provided by the U.S. taxpayer. The Army is not paying for the parade, American taxpayers are. If damage is done to the streets of D.C., it will not be the Army that pays for it, it will be the American taxpayer.

Theoretically, there can be a perfect balance in trade. That is much less likely in the real world. Sometimes, specialization and comparative advantage can lead to a trade imbalance, and that is not always a bad thing. Explain to me what the U.S. gained in the China tariff war. I truly want to know.

The problem Trump claimed tariffs would solve never existed. Placing high tariffs on everything was just an excuse to garner attention and play big man in the world. Supporters look at him and think he is a tough guy because they understand nothing about a global economy. They've been duped again.

Unfortunately, when it comes to understanding the workings of the federal government, his supporters are that dumb. No matter what he says, they accept it as fact. Yes, I know they are members of a cult

So, I guess interpreter positions were cut, too. Members of Trump's staff probably looked for the contact information for the interpreters in an effort to rehire them, but could not locate it in time for the trip.

I think I would have responded that while Canada is not for sale, I understand there are a number of Americans requesting that Canada purchase the United States. That is something we will consider.

You could be right, but remember, I said an immature 13 year old. I think all can agree that he lacks the maturity and type of intellectual capacity one would would expect to find in the leader of any nation. And why half the population is okay with that is more than I will ever understand.

If Musk goes to Mars on a one-way ticket and takes Trump, Vance, Hegseth, RFK, Jr. and the rest of Trump's cabinet with him, it would be a good start on the project to save humanity.

Since DT is talking about someone just drawing lines, how about someone drawing a line for the Canadian border that extends below the state of Virginia. I am so ready to be a citizen of a country not controlled by a man with the mentally of an immature 13 year old and his equally immature buddies.

And that is the problem. No one with a conscience can work with Trump more than a few days. Those who remain range from sociopaths to psychopaths. The rest of us find it hard to fathom how Trump's people do what they do because we would be haunted. Sadly, Trump's team is created in his own image.

Yes, and he uses every opportunity for graft that he gets. I agree with those who believe an ethics investigation is a waste of time. At this point, investigations have no effect. Until someone comes up with a way to wrest the means of enforcement from him, he will do as he pleases.

I thought 60 Minutes presented valuable and interesting information. However, if CBS caved and 60 Minutes is nothing more than a mouthpiece for Trump, I hope the show's long run comes to an end. If those who head up CBS do not have the courage to fight Trump, at least they can avoid helping him.

If it was just that simple. If Trump is impeached and convicted, who will actually remove him from office? It seems unlikely that members of the DOJ, who literally back Trump's every move, will escort him out the door.

Well, I guess it is no more inappropriate than the fact that a man convicted of 34 felonies is sitting in the office of the president of the United States.

Only an idiot would suggest that advocating for justice could be considered aiding and abetting a criminal. If Garcia is found to be a terrorist through due process, justice will be served just as it will if he is found innocent. Gorka might want to check out the DOJ website for info on the topic.

What good will impeachment do? Even if Trump is impeached and convicted, who will enforce it? Trump controls the enforcers. That is why he is no longer concerned with his popularity. Just as planned, he can do anything he chooses with no fear of consequences.

Trump will likely address the horrific act the moment he gets off the golf course. Trump claims to promote policy to eliminate antisemitism. Oh, wait. The targeted Jewish governor is one of Trump's many political opponents. In that case, the incident falls outside the realm of his policy.

I agree that is a possibility. If he is not dead, bringing him back will cause more problems. What sort of lawsuit will be filed against the Trump administration? What will the public learn about the conditions of the prison to which Garcia was sent and how he was treated.
comment in response to

If they don't know where Garcia is, it is going to be hard to provide that info. Yes, if things were as they should be, records would be kept on each deportee. However, in this amateur hour of geniuses, nothing is as it should be.

If it cannot be shown that someone loses, then Donald Trump cannot claim a win. The biggest fallacy is that the actions being taken relative to tariffs are about the U.S. and trade. They are not. They are about Trump and his desire for power and control.
