Technically speaking, it was a law to ban loitering for the purpose of soliciting sex work, but in reality, it was used as a way to discriminate against trans women for simply existing in public. www.nbcnews.com/feature/nbc-...

I agree. It would be similar to how anti-soliciting laws were abused and turned into the "walking while trans" discrimination law (which was only repealed in 2021) 😓
