My rabbits made quieter coworkers lol. Parrots all want to participate in my meetings. That meeting last week I almost brought my sun conure Suzaku (she's the loudest) into just so she could scream at the guy asking me to do illegal things lol.

Last week I ended a meeting at work by screaming into my pillow as loud as I could. It was pretty nice. (Also I work from home so the only coworkers around are my parrots)

These venues really helped me during covid when isolation got strong. Twitch DJs with good music and a club atmosphere was a good substitute for going out. I also did SWF ones because while I'm not Ace my WoL is.

Man I hated this song in the 90s but if I hear it now it's pretty good! I think not having the radio play it every hour helps.

I'm so happy for you that you'll play it for the first time soon! I was 12 when it came to the US in 1994. After beating it the first time I realized I missed a LOT of characters and my buddy and I kept replaying until we found them all.

I was so excited to play disco elysium. I started it up and within the first minute or two the main character had a heart attack and died. I just uninstalled. Anything where the game just ends on a single instance of bad RNG just doesn't sound fun.

My local (American) football team throws pretty famous pregame parties and from what I've seen opposing team fans can join, drink, and do stupid things with them. We're not all perfect, it is 67000 people, but we're definitely better than euro football from what I've seen.

You're absolutely right though. You need all kinds of players. It's the same in WoW. Most people will never mythic raid but you need other casual content for players.

I always loved this too and my wife and I make a point to talk to all the NPCs before turning in a quest or starting the next part.
I also noticed that World of Warcraft started to add some of this type of character building after FFXIV got really popular in ShB.
