you can track the naked-eye visible satellites on satflare if you make an account and key in your location. i don't know how to tell which ones are geostationary first hand, but iridium and starlink are low orbit and only visible at dusk so geo seems likely www.satflare.com/track.asp?q=...

the ADAU1401a or 1701 is a good candidate; clocks at 3-25mhz, 2xADC, 4xDAC, 8 pins of gpio, and is available cheap on aliexpress. but doesn't seem to have the clock pins in the right position

based on the position on the front panel PCB, the mystery chip is almost certainly an LED driver for the 7-segment display. a quick search on LCSC for QFP-48 led driver ICs turns up this TM1681 with the same distinctive 3 dot pattern: www.lcsc.com/product-deta...

i recently played "signalis" which is a difficult horror game with an incredibly tedious limited 6-slot inventory requiring a ton of backtracking. the devs added a much-requested option for an expanded inventory but i only found out after i beat the game! wish they advertised it up front
