““My predictions have a pretty good track record,” Musk told Tesla staff at an all-hands meeting on March 20, but none of those present dared to ask him whether he had predicted the anti-Musk backlash that is tanking Tesla sales around the world”
😅
The whole article is funny and worth reading 👍🏻

Well said.
Today moral qualities like sincerity, humility, responsibility, universal empathy, are often considered for suckers.
Business and political leaders are dispensed from possessing them.
Society will relearn -painfully, at this rate- that leaders character is as important as their skill.

This is bull unworthy of publication.
Ukraine must stop being a military threat to Russia? Really? 🙄

This is so insanely evil.
Empathy is the main power behind human cooperation and social development.
What can you replace it with? The strength to control with fear? Lies and propaganda to neuter independent thought?
These guys seem to want to shape the US and world in a shinier N. Korea.

Oh there is plenty of reason to destroy all public services, the well connected oligarchs will get lucrative contracts to fill the void

Stick and carrot, he has no authority or good sense and is trying to manipulate people in following him.
The real reason that he would like to promote among those who replied his email?
It’s because they have shown themselves malleable to his will.

“This creates a very strong argument for Trump to negotiate to keep as much of that annexed land under Ukraine as possible”
LOL Trump would rather negotiate to get the minerals from Putin in exchange for the US quitting support for Ukraine.

The brilliance of self certifying as a crank who doesn’t care for the vulnerable.
Blocked and nothing of value is lost.

“even his flaws have flaws
…
In fact, if Frankenstein decided to make a monster assembled entirely from human flaws – he would make a Trump”
😅
Yet some follow and even celebrate this guy, he is a shepherd of the foolish and the evil.

What I saw at a glance were two shrouded ghost-like figures walking in the mist, thought it was a fantasy illustration 😅 Anyone else??
Great image even without the ghosts 😆

We long knew they were both chronic liars. What amazes me is the lack of social will to ban obvious liars from public office.
A teacher would get fired. Politicians get a free pass. This is the result, a power grab and complete disregard for morals and justice, powered by shameless disinformation

“If you're unvaccinated, you resisted global propaganda”
More like: if you are unvaccinated, you don’t care for the vulnerable.

They talk like AIs, soulless words without heart and a perceptive link to reality. Can’t be healthy. Reminds me a description I read of Nazi officers under trial.
The girl is uniquely weird, elsewhere too, serms to be smiling at herself whenever she thinks to have said something convincing.

A good portion of the country is happy to believe or pretend to believe whatever he says, the rest won’t do anything out of the desire to not start a civil war.
That’s how dictatorships start.

“unable to distinguish between what feels good and what's true”
This passage hits particularly hard, so commonly and terribly true.

Any social network selling a “large reply boost” is an untrustworthy disgrace.
Pay to Win, just like Elon does (except when he can just screw you instead, see not paying severance and rent at his cult HQ)

The preservation of freedom is also extremely important, as well as the punishment of aggressors.
Abandoning people to live under a dictatorship will only delay an inevitable struggle.
If we don’t fight today for freedom, our sons will have to fight in our place tomorrow

I’ll be very happy if we can finally create a social network for the people
Not swarmed by engagement bait for advertisers, not a billionaire megaphone, not a playground for trolls and malicious actors
It’s going to require investment in labeling posts and please add a more accessible BLOCK button

Since they suggest it will play PS5 games locally, it will come out way late, to compete with the Switch 3 and Steam Deck 3.
By then the 2nd gen Switch and Deck will be comfortable market leaders with massive libraries.

Of course, the whole point is to increase their base of manipulated supporters.

They are jumping to Bluesky for two reasons:
They chase prey to harass and indoctrinate.
They are afraid of a platform with good moderation, where they would have less power, becoming a successful alternative to X.
Thus try to sabotage it, degrade the discussion so users won’t see reason to switch

Just report and block the trolls, don’t give them visibility and satisfaction engaging
