The first Gulf war with Bush Sr made sense and had a clear objective. Gulf war 2 I always felt was a "they tried to kill my dad" payback. Today... Is a toddler wanting to play with toys. Dubya at least had smart people around him.

We survived the 110 years of Wallcot, we'll make it through this. :) The obvious most obstructive will be the work in MK redoing Frontierland. Everything is somewhat out of the way and closed mostly low traffic attractions. Personally would rather see more net adds instead of replacements.

He is a legend for everything he's done. He came to speak to my freshman meteo class at OU and was a force to listen to. However ever since he retired he's just fallen completely into the maga trap.
A shame because he's done so much for meteorology.

The other part is whomever is delivering the information, being given the time and tools to correctly relay the details behind the forecast.

That type of thing. Instead, we get "alert days" and no detail

What to do? I think we can divide Mets into 2 categories for a simple look. On Camera vs. NWS/Research/etc. OCMs are at the mercy of the character they are forced to play - depending on the market. An OCM in OKC is night and day from LA or NY.
The public unfortunately lumps everyone together.

Basically the root cause is all of the above coming together, tied with the ability for internet savvy individuals to monetize thanks to how the algorithms rewards them.
People though only remember when the internet guys were right, not wrong, because of the constant social media hype.

Need something to put into the LPT1 port. I'm pretty sure I have a couple of those in my storage bin of cables including things in high demand these days like VGA, serial, and other cables. lol
