Both were super cuddly, but otherwise very different. Wintermoon was very talkative (chirps and warbles, not so much meows), understood many human words, and loved socializing. Vanyel was extremely clever when it came to stealing food and absolutely nothing else, like the cat version of a Labrador

I am extremely biased because both of my kitties were boy tabbies, but I say go for it!

Calling this a sideshow also shifts whatever *this* is toward entertainment, & that trivializes the horrendous destruction these 2 have done/are doing to the country & world.
I'm up for the laugh, but then let's remember what these freaks are doing & who empowered them: Republicans

The way you can drop them and then they just aren't *anywhere* when you try to find where they fell even though you *just* dropped them.

You know, that might be a good thing. Trump sycophants love him, but some casual R voters don't, so if the GOP takes the blame, Trumpists will give him a pass, but the people who only voted for him because he's the R on the ballot won't. It might be enough to tank their election numbers!

I hope it's enough. The majority of people vote based on vibes and don't pay attention to policy. Casual voters still consider the GOP "the party of fiscal responsibility" even though they haven't been that in my lifetime. Even if they blame Trump, I worry they'll give the rest of the GOP a pass.

I really wish the accessibility implementations of AI got more focus, but I guess they aren't as sexy as invasive AI "assistants" and attempts to replace actual artists with soulless slop trained on stolen work 🫠

The thing I don't get is why they want to create a situation where people have a hard time finding books they want to read and are tricked into reading books they don't want to read. Like. What is the goal here? Is it just petty meanness, or...?
