facet-json vs serde_json, before any sort of performance-oriented changes (like using memchr, ryu, itoa, etc.) isn't bad at all imho, only ~6-8X slower? I would be happy with that, but there's an irresistible urge to do better, of course https://github.com/facet-rs/facet/pull/546
