To be fair, I was happy to see the protests got a lot of the lead story, but the online Times experience leaves a lot to be desired. Which is why (yes, Gen-X here) I have a print subscription but deleted the app. When traveling I look at the facsimile edition on PressReader.

Did she throw in a f*ck Clayton Kershaw for good measure?

Totally agreed. But spending all the country’s money on the IRGC, sponsoring terrorism, and a nuclear program is unlikely to be very popular under a new regime. All I’m saying is that unlike some other ME countries, Iran could well turn out in a better place.

I’m not watching Ted Cruz, so this doesn’t relate to whatever he says here. But I don’t think that’s at all true. Iran has a super sophisticated population. A government not headed by the mullahs won’t likely be western oriented, but is highly likely to sponsor less terror and build the country up.

The only good thing you can say about Weiner is that he signed off on one of the most spectacularly cringe-inducing documentaries of all time.

Fair enough. I kind of think that AOC endorsing Lander as 1 would have been braver. He’s the experienced progressive, behind in the polls, and not the flavor of the moment.

Yep. Really, seems like the two only possibilities are either someone meticulously planned this and took the time to acquire genuine articles, or it was actually a cop who used his work equipment.

Not sure anyone needs to hear from Ben Rhodes.

It does feel like a pretty thin managerial record, but I'm certainly not that close to it. Having listened to the discussions from the FAQ NYC crew @thecity.nyc and @errollouis.bsky.social and his colleagues, I hear what feel like a lot of experience concerns from them also, which feels legitimate.

I get the strategic points you’re making, but curious why you think the points about Mamdani’s lack of experience are “made up”?

I’m gonna bet that it’s something he didn’t do.
