Not sure anyone needs to hear from Ben Rhodes.

It does feel like a pretty thin managerial record, but I'm certainly not that close to it. Having listened to the discussions from the FAQ NYC crew @thecity.nyc and @errollouis.bsky.social and his colleagues, I hear what feel like a lot of experience concerns from them also, which feels legitimate.

I get the strategic points you’re making, but curious why you think the points about Mamdani’s lack of experience are “made up”?

I’m gonna bet that it’s something he didn’t do.

And it’s hard to find anyone under 65 who retains any fondness for him, if ever they had any. (As a 23 y.o. in 92, I hated pulling the lever - as one did - for him.)

It’s rational in the sense that if that is her goal, telling her supporters to vote for Cuomo is definitely a good way to help beat Mamdani. I didn’t say I agreed with it, just that it is rationally a means toward that end.

Look, that’s frankly the only rational argument for doing it. If she’s being open about it that’s good.

also, comptroller is basically a referendum on congestion pricing with @marklevinenyc.bsky.social being a strong supporter and Justin Brannan being an opponent. Vote for Mark Levine.
