"So you're fine with political assassinations?" Seriously, reporters do not know how to ask a follow-up question.

We know the assignment. But does the DNC know it?!

He's been impeached. Twice. Nothing changed. You'll never get 20 R Senators to vote for removal. You need to lock up his cronies. Take down his enablers and things change fast.

I can't wait for Hannity to spend 3 hours a day, every day, over the next month criticizing Trump for being anti-business. That's going to happen, right?

I am convinced that if the DNC just ran tv ads of Trump babbling (eg, that...er..long rant about Palmer's "club"), there's no way he wins the election. You didn't have to paint him as anything other than an incoherent old man. He gave us plenty of material to do so!

Bébé. Very missed in times like these. Or just very missed.

At least Gore took it to the courts and fought for months. Kamala conceded the next morning while votes were still being counted.

Even more ironic that these same **Republicans** will scream "that's my heritage!!" when we try to remove confederate statues/names.

So much gaslighting in one post.

Cats do this?! Do they all know this is an option? 😹

I understand the comparison/point you are making, but the problem isn't wapo. The problem is that Dems gave up after 10 days. It probably didn't help that Kamala put on track shoes to concede.

If I was a reporter, I'd be asking for the country list AND which individual specifically reached out to us from each. Then I'd be calling those people for confirmation.

Oh good. Trump breaks it. Dems fix it. Trump takes credit for the fix. General populace- "see! His policies are good!!"

Queue Conway Twitty singing "That's My Job".

Better make sure the votes aren't transmitted via Starlink.

Especially in the 3 districts that are about to have special elections to fill vacant House seats.

Ok I see that now. Thanks for the clarification.

He'll be the VP, then whoever is elected President will step down, making Trump President again.

I'm old enough to remember Reid refusing to ditch the filibuster, which stopped 59 Dem senate votes from accomplishing anything. So Dems had to pass water downed legislation, which wasn't effective and cost us the House in '10. Yeah he's not exactly what we need today.

As proven by the recent SoTU and today's cloture vote, there's no plan to counter Trump's agenda. Even worse - There was NEVER a plan. In the end.. Establishment Dems lack a will to get their hands dirty.

And, of course, a reporter asked about if someone touches a Chevy or Ford. Right? Right?!

"Trump is going to continue to do Trump things. But even more so during a shutdown!" is such a bewildering argument. In reality Dems just lack any ability or desire to fight.

Schumer's "we'll fight them on everything else" rings hollow. If you can't draw the line on this hill, you won't fight on any hill.
comment in response to post
I love how Schumer says they will fight the upcoming tax bill. Dude. That will pass via reconciliation. No cloture motion available.
comment in response to post
Schumer - fight everything!!! Also Schumer- well not on this.
comment in response to post
The alternative is not worse. Smh. Schumer is clueless.

It's not the initial questions you ask. Nail him with follow up questions. He wants to just spew utter crap without you pushing back.

When Rs started chanting "USA! USA!!". Dems should have joined in...at full volume...and not stopped. Just continually shout "USA!" until your lungs gave out. But that would have required leadership & guts.
comment in response to post
Or... Hear me out. Or dems could shout in unison "the price of eggs is rising!!" Or "the stock market crashed today!!". Then "that's a lie!!" When Trump says otherwise.
comment in response to post
And here I was hoping dems would drown out Trump with a "that's a lie!!" chant I'm unison every 45 seconds.
comment in response to post
Bringing a megaphone to shout "that's a lie!!" every 30 seconds would be better.

Rifftrax would be out of business

They do this to trigger us. Don't let them. Ignore it and focus on his actions.

This is where you need Obama leading the charge. Let them dare to arrest him.

Beat me to it!

Grover Norquist laid it all out many years ago - find someone with a functional hand to sign whatever is put infront of them. It's just that Trump is more unhinged and blunt than most. But it didn't matter which R won the Presidency...the P25 blueprint was already there.
