I had to side load it on my upstairs TV, use a computer downstairs so don't need it, but you can't easily side load on Samsung tvs

If you have an android TV you can use the smart tube app, it hides shorts and even has sponsor block built in

Yes on the PC, and I use some ad blockers too, there is one that gets rid of you tube shorts..

I use brave, it still works fine - if it pops up saying adblockers are not allowed an update usually fixes that
