A stick figure is still art

Old car junkyard has long been abandoned and the forest in the process of swallowing them up. Chrome is still shiney.

Geese were chill and got to identify my first Common Merganser on the canal.

Water level for the river and canal was high with fast current near Lock 60. Green is an amazing color. #SchuylkillRiverTrail

Lunch at a new to us place included watching a variety of floats on the canal. Also got to watch Fire Water Rescue navigate afternoon traffic as it responded to a call on the river. Food was as amazing as the day.

It must be spring.

Today is that kind of day where the eyes wander out the window and the brain hikes forest trails. Did the partial trail walk with Shaman today. #needed

Trump comes into the presidency and dismantles, steals, and corrupts everything because he can. His people take him out when the country is in shambles. Vance steps up and is there to rebuild everything. Our savior. (??) Bets on went? I say December 2025. That is my tinfoil hat thought.

I am a huge advocate for getting out for neighborhood walks with your dogs. You cannot belive how much they learn about the human world (noises, etc) and what it does for socialization. Who would have thought the same applies to humans? Get. Out. And. Walk. 🌳🌳🌳🌳🌳🌳🌳🌳🌳 And take your kids or dogs

Just a reminder

🤣

We discovered one of those strange bent tree trunks that people say are Native American trail markers. Not too sure this one was, maybe a species tendency?

Lock 60 was quiet with a few kayaks on the canal and people fishing from the banks. (Phoenixville, PA)

I love living near a 100 miles long trail with trail spurs along the route. Green lined the banks of Schuylkill River, accented by a gray day.

Poem represented the FgDogs at the Bark in the Park held in Valley Forge Park and scored her brethren the BARK Ranger tag. I was sworn in and we now represent good dog ownership as we wander all of our parks. 🌳🌳🌳🦮🌳🌳🌳

Happy Anniversary!

I was supposed to fear Shria Law. This is the crap they brought back from the Middle East and now call it Christian Nationalism.

Another early morning start, but this time only an hour away. Who said girls sporting the doggie "briefs" and running last lose their noses? Shaman was smoking her vehicle hides despite the stiff winds and colder temps.

Sometimes this instead of a forest walk is just as relaxing. Rainy Saturday made better with a good steak and a drink with an alligator on top.

🤣

Completed the virtual Happy Little 5k Fun Walk today. Thank you PA Parks and Forests Foundation for hosting! TShirts caught attention and we met a lot of new people as we walked French Creek Trail.

One duck on a rock One Heron on a log Either the start of a poem or some secret code.

East Pikeland held a fun scavenger event along the French Creek Trail. We were unknowingly finding items as we entered from the other end. I guess the true scavenger finds out it's a hunt after finding everything? The Peeper Bunnies rocked.

Mr Heron was happy and active today. The trail was busy from the warm weather and holiday and he just chilled on his spot on French Creek.
