When they set out to make their power supply 100% green, Northwest leaders ignored the fact that the region lacks the wiring to deliver new sources of renewable energy to people’s homes. Little has been done to change that, ProPublica and @opb.org found.

Set aside the ethics & focus on the cost. Some estimate the cost of renovating the gifted plane to AF1 standards would be tens, if not hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars. It could take 3 years to accomplish.

In 2024, Biden signed into law a $105 billion measure designed to end a shortfall in air traffic controllers. In 2025, Trump came in and instead began firing hundreds of them. So you can see how *clear* it is that Biden is to blame for the shortage now.

If Christians in America were truly honest with ourselves, we would admit that far too many churches have become places where people are made to be disciples of the Religious Right rather than followers of Jesus and then we would collectively repent from this harmful allegiance.

Good article, but not mentioned was the lost revenue due to cuts. Some government agencies, such as National Parks generate more revenue than they receive in funding. DOGE is a huge boondoggle and fiasco.

The Public Broadcasting Act of 1967 created the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. I reread it today; nothing in the law allows a president to defund PBS and NPR. In fact, Congress specifically sought to insulate public media from political pressure.
