Someone else said the same thing. I’d love a cherry tree but I’ve been told that you never get to share the cherries.

David Stancombe is running the marathon to raise funds for Elsie's story of hope, in memory of in memory of Elsie Dot Stancombe. They ran a 3k charity run together in 2023 and she wanted her dad to run the London marathon one day. The link to donate is here

True and we do like to help wildlife.

I still want one.

Oh no, that’s such a shame. We have five apple trees and a plum that were here when we moved in 25 years ago. We don’t do anything with them and the apples just keep coming.

I’m so looking forward to that.

I’ve never planted a cherry tree because someone told me you don’t get any. 😁

Thanks, I’m proud of them. 😁

You can because the culture wars Christians don’t know that word.

I don’t think Twitter works properly anymore.
Here’s a thing I noticed, if you retweet Musk, you cannot undo the retweet. I don’t know about likes and I won’t be experimenting.

I blocked so many people, can’t even remember why. I operate an amnesty here, with some notable exceptions. 😁

Well, I named two ducks 20 years ago. Ducks come each year, the names remain the same. 😁

Me too! I got a dozen that were at the end of their best before date but they looked fine to me and they are.

Ha no, ferrets are all house trained, they just pretend they’re not, for badness.

The Tories would be foolish to get involved. RefUK won’t last and if they get in the same bed now, the public will never forget.

He doesn’t want to team up with them, he wants to lead them.
Farage is desperate to be seen as a mainstream player no matter what he says to the contrary, and Badenoch is stupid to think he wants to destroy the Tories, he wants to own them.

Ha! I only came here because I was missing my friends and the first tweet I saw was from Gita. 😊

The weather has done that to us before. It offers Easter promise and then fails us just a few short months later.
The weather is naughty and not to be trusted.

As long as that wasn’t summer.

Yes, what we just had, had better not have been summer. 😂

All good here, enjoying the weather and looking for to a rainy bank holiday weekend.

Ah yes, other people have mentioned that. Recovery is going to take them some time. 😁

All but certain to be more Labour vs Conservative than Labour vs Reform contests in the 85 seats Labour must defend for a majority & the 200+ seats it could lose to someone. But more Labour v Reform contests in 2029 than 2024 (half a dozen). Reform's 89 second places inc many where it is nowhere

That can only be a positive for Labour. The more Badenoch positions herself alongside Farage, the better.

Hello there!
I think my problem is that I don’t follow enough people and so there’s not much on my feed.

That’s pretty much all I do now in the other place. I thought I there would be a key event when I would leave there but it hasn’t happened. Instead I find that I can’t really be bothered and I’m just quietly drifting away.
