i think persona 5 is overrated, and like expedition 33, probably because the gameplay is actually surprisingly engaging, decisions feel meaningful and different enemy groups require different approaches, so you cant just spam atk

so dont feel like you need to defend AI in its current form just because it has some legitimate use cases, if these companies were interested in actually solving those specific problems, they could and probably much better with some focus

AI's "usefulness" doesnt and will never justify how much of a net negative it is in every other regard because the benefits CAN just exist without it, it just requires solving the specific problem and not throwing an entire planet of computing at it

for instance, if you have a dataset in the millions, you can utilize ML and statistics to find some pretty deep needles in the haystack, and thats good! but you can just....do that with the specific data and ML and not destroy the planet/steal every work in the process to do so
