It's annoying when somebody comes by and lectures you about indifference who has shown no compassion whatsoever, isn't it? Didn't know that. Never heard of such a thing playing out. I drank from a hose when I was a kid and went home when the street lights came on.

UBI was the biggest blunder and display of indifference by the left in this country. It would at least have eased every crisis we are going through right now and arguably would have instilled a sociological impediment to trump.

The chances for victory are slim if the side fighting fascism is ultimately conservative and even in the case of victory the conditions will be laid for another trump. Wage labor and various merit-based ideologies must be attacked.

Rarely does anyone say what's on their bingo card ahead of time so here's one from me. Somebody who early on branded UBI as an oligarch plot or a dumb guy's dream will be outed as some aei or heritage stooge. Chris hedges was working for RT so we know that one, doesn't count.

There just isn't any room for crypto-conservatives to congregate online anymore. One silver lining I guess. Again, twitter is just a few clicks away. The right will be more receptive.
