That’s very funny. ā€œIf I stand here waggling my head and my wings will I take off?ā€

Happy Casper! Did he get a bath when he got home?

You can probably remove some of the plums now while they’re small and the others should then grow bigger… seems to be a good year for tree fruit, lots of cherries here and lots of damsons on my tree

I completed it! I think that might be the first time

He needed his emotional support human

That reminds me of days when my poor piano used to get tuned. He’d play jazz for a while after finishing which was always a pleasure

That’s my experience too. And difficult to germinate

Aren’t they just? This one keeps me entertained just by sleeping

Was wide awake at 6, worrying about work. Fell back asleep just before I needed to get up šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø

I think it depends so much on who the people are… I had my mother in mind šŸ˜‚

Very impressive, well done šŸ‘

I dong like them either. But they get in and I think they hide under the shower tray where it’s not sealed to the floor (legacy of my ex’s bodging). And tbh they’re better than ants or mice

I always thought we got slugs in the house because I’m rubbish at housework… until a new neighbour asked on the terrace WhatsApp group if anyone else got slugs indoors… and it turns out to be really common
comment in response to post
We clean frantically… and don’t allow anyone upstairs
comment in response to post
Maybe. Or maybe the shower tray is nice and cool.

That’s so funny. Archie is scared of the shower (although loves puddles)

This is an excellent situation 🄰

That’s just like my parents G plan dining table. There’s one in the lounge at the Green Dragon Hotel Hereford too, and I’ll admit to getting ridiculously over excited when I saw it

No tea?! Let me put the kettle on
comment in response to post
Ah. Not so good then!

I didn’t have fighting with an extension cable on my Monday morning list. Still in my pjs too
comment in response to post
Sometimes that’s a good thing. Means you’ve not been awake in the night

Looking forwards to seeing lots more photos of your puppy!

Poor Molly! Poor you having to clear up! Hope she’s better soon

Looks gorgeous but 6am??? I’d rather be in my bed 😓

THANK YOU!

I remember my mum (read zoology at university and a keen botanist) having an argument over the identity of a wildflower when I was at primary school šŸ˜‚

I think some of them you recognise if you listen often enough. I don’t watch / listen to the news so most of it goes straight over my head

Excellent 😁

I remember having to learn what a dunnock was because we were taught they were hedge sparrows at school

I should have a sit down for as long as you can get away with!

I think doing a meal like that in a slow cooker is perfect in this weather. The less time you need the hob or oven on the better!
