We are building a house. My architect mansplained closets to me. I responded with,”In all due respect, I am 61 years old and I’ve been using closets my entire life. I fully understand reach-in, walk-in, armoires and wardrobes. And I have an advanced degree from MIT.”

My friend’s 3 YO was watching Disney movies and then her mom switched to the news of the LA protests last week. The toddler started chanting “Save the Prince from the cops!”

In San Luis Obispo, town with about 30k people, there were about 5000 of us. It was graduation day at Cal Poly, so anyone that works at the university wasn’t able to attend. I saw 1 man in a pickup stopped at a red light and he started shouting and reving his engine. The motorcycle cop blocked him.

My father was a proud Republican and veteran who left the party when Reagan was president. He said that they had become the party of the ultra rich and racists. It started with Reagan and isn’t even trying to hide it now.
