Ironically, those super-wealthy folks know exactly what to do with the money from their new tax breaks: Use it to buy up your public land, and turn it into their private hunting and fishing lodges. Public land is one of your most precious resources! Once it's gone, you'll never get it back.

Trump is probably drafting an Executive Order to reinstate slavery right now. That's what his pals really want, right? Why just exploit vulnerable labor to get richer, when they can OWN that labor like in that earlier "Golden Age" of the Confederacy, Robert E Lee, etc.

Exactly! "Hey taxpayers, we took your $500billion, but trust me, we created a secret, invisible network of satellites that are protecting you from missiles right now. Don't worry, it totally works and we didn't steal a single dollar for ourselves because we're already rich, makes sense, right?"

Christopher Landau (on the left), deputy Secretary of State, giving a press conference on "refugees" from South Africa ... So maybe not commonplace, but it sure pops up and it is NOT an accident.

Notice the tie on Kristi's husband Bryon. A perfect match for the old South African "Apartheid Flag". This has become commonplace in GOP circles. They aren't anti-immigration. They are hard core white supremacists.

Of course he will. Trump is fixated on the idea of the USA swelling up in size to encompass Greenland ... and Canada is in between the US and Greenland. So zero surprise when he just goes back to his dangerous talk of annexation. Maybe in a week? Maybe in a year? Canada must prepare to fight!

If you define murdering 52 random civilians to strike one "top missile guy" as "a success", then there seems to be another War Crimes type of issue here. The only collateral damage consideration discussed by the Trump cabinet seems to have been whether oil prices might spike!

Yes. Look how easily his team lie bare-faced under oath to the House and Senate about the Signal fiasco. Lies to warm up for the Greenland takeover, which itself is practise for the main event: Annexing Canada. Small steps, so that US soldiers get tricked to behave illegally instead of refusing.

I can't help feeling like we will see more "Make America Go Away" sentiment, maybe even with some serious Greenland-Canada solidarity thrown in? If Trump wanted to "protect" the world, there would need to be an actual threat to protect it from. He IS the threat. He just wants to own it.

Not sure what threat to the USA Trump is inventing to justify this BS. Is he worried about Greenland's fishing boats being a threat to "international safety and security"? (Below screenshot cropped from marinetraffic.com)

Correct. The #1 reason that the Trump cabinet are systematically using Signal instead of approved government channels is so that there is no evidence left behind. Signal chat groups are most likely currently in progress for planning all kinds of illegal acts. e.g. Operations to destabilize Greenland
comment in response to post
I'm not sure they are stupid. Most of their work IS secret. They are just using Signal *so much* that there was bound to be a slip eventually. What needs to happen is all their phones be impounded, and a full investigation held into all the other illegal Signal chats we don't yet know about.

Remember that OPSEC is the least of it. This one war plan is hardly significant. This crew are choosing to secretly use Signal FOR EVERYTHING because it's a great way to co-ordinate illegal activities and leave no trace. False flag operations in Greenland? Signal chat, encrypted, deleted later. Etc.

Because when Trump starts invading countries, he has no intention of paying for the damage he does there either. He wants to set up a world where the powerful can destroy the weak with impunity, because he sees himself as powerful. Look out Canada, Panama, Greenland, Mexico.

I'm sure, just like his other disaster responses, Drumpf would ask his "advisors" (one of his kids?) if the people affected in San Francisco voted for him, and only if the reply was "yes" would he consider helping them.

Not to mention that the first launch of such a weapon against US soil would trigger a massive, Russia-ending response by American forces. If Ukraine can fly simple drones to Moscow, you can bet every B2 Spirit can casually fly over 16 different Russian cities, delivering each a nice B61 nuke ...

Police say 3x fired 9mm cases were found at the scene, as well as 3x live 9mm rounds. This implies the gun was malfunctioning in some way, ejecting after each shot but somehow failing to properly chamber new rounds. Each time the shooter is racking the slide, another live bullet is dropping out.

Apparently Tucker Carlson thinks the solution here - to the continual escalation steps and reckless brinkmanship by the Russians - is for everyone to just give the Russians whatever they want.

Far worse, it signals "dictatorships are best, and can do whatever they want". As the USA gets "rebuilt" in the Hungarian model, their support for all autocrats will increase. By giving the green light to other dictators abroad, it normalizes autocracy and helps legitimize the power shift at home.

Not low on missiles, Russia wanted to send a message that "this could have been a nuke and you couldn't stop us", to back up threats of nuclear escalation. The fact they can launch a nuclear-capable missile with impunity does kind of support this assertion ... no US condemnation, just embassy evac?
comment in response to post
Either way - ICBM or MRBM - this kind of nuclear-capable missile launch must trigger NORAD alarms set up to watch for a nuclear attack. To fire such a weapon without first warning your enemies is a guaranteed way to immediately start WW3. This explains why US embassy knew and evacuated in advance ..
