I can guess at the obvious reasons as to why, but I'll have to look into this more for the specifics and more importantly the solutions. for POC I know what needs to change but im not sure if that would fix everything for the indigenous population as well

are there really no immediate repercussions for just dropping a slur? if an elected official was just out there saying the n word could they not just get immediately tossed?
