Get comfortable with telling people No. Also explaining why you’re saying No is a courtesy reserved for people who won’t disrespect you enough to try to talk you out of your No.

Enjoying a gorgeous evening with the goats.

Them: Are you familiar with Kubernetes? Me: My understanding is that it’s a buzzword people who don’t know what they’re talking about like to use, and that when implemented it solves problems by replacing them with three times as many problems.

This should be the end of Noem’s career in public life. It almost certainly won’t be, however, which is itself damning.

This is completely wrong. I've lived in Europe. They don't want our cars because: 1. Too big for roads and parking spaces 2. Too fuel inefficient in countries where gas is $6/gallon 3. Considered low quality for the cost

Can't wait to get back to life being semi-normal again after this week. Need to get my gym workouts and diet back on track to make up for the last six months of basically working, sleeping, and eating too much convenience food. Hoping to bounce back quickly because I really miss looking this lean! 😁

Last year the Japanese variety show Gaki no Tsukai had the famous singer Yoko Takahashi go undercover at a restaurant where she fooled everyone right up until she took the stage and belted out A Cruel Angel's Thesis, the intro song to Neon Genesis Evangelion. Just stunning.

"Your life should not be a museum." "Being alive is as special an occasion as it gets."

Watch the upper right quadrant of the video (full screen). I didn’t notice it the first few times because I was focused on the concrete in the foreground and swaying plants. This is impressive!

If you live in California and happen to see Spartan Mosquito Pro Techs for sale, please send me a photograph and the address of the store. The scam tubes are banned there and company gets fined up to $10,000 *per* instance. I'd very much like to facilitate that happening. #california #mosquitoes
