I think for some, it's that they don't understand the effort and skill to do these jobs, so they figure *anyone* can just do them.
These are the same people who think they could beat a gorilla in hand-to-hand combat.

That is tempting! I *hate* breaking chips/crackers when dipping.
We bought some of those Ritz Crackers 'N Cheesy Dip Snack Packs and every frickin' cracker broke -- repeatedly -- so I ended up licking the "cheese" (if that's what you called it) off my fingers.
I also ended up swearing *a lot*.
