Disabled people make able bodied people uncomfortable because we blatantly ask for help from others. We rely on community for support and care. Taking care of the most vulnerable is the revolution to a more connected society.

We're living through the Who Cares Era, where completely disposable things are shoddily produced for people to mostly ignore, while the government stomps its uncaring boot on our necks. But there's an easy way to fight back: Care. I wrote about it: dansinker.com/posts/2025-0...

Important things to know about my life today: •It is my first sunburn of the year •Staying in a “bunkhouse” that has a nice big tub •I’m not convinced I am a human. I do like humans, though. They are capable of some bananas things.

You can’t fight fascism without disability justice. Fascism creates more disability, which then sees us as replaceable and our deaths as excusable. You can’t fight for humanity without fighting for disabled people.

Reading Susan Cain’s Quiet and developing a sickle-cell model of introversion theory: having partial introversion confers many benefits, having more traits of introversion makes people less functional in the world and more (dare I say) Jex-shaped

simply not true

"I have a joke about 'Trickle Down Economics'. But 99% of you will never get it."

Do you ever see someone’s presentation who obviously has no fear of public speaking and then realize that it is only because of your intense public speaking fear that you bother to do things like practice & make sure AV equipment works ahead of time?

Suddenly not wanting to die all the time is a very particular comfort. People who never experience deep mental health issues are both lucky and deprived. They don’t have to suffer and they don’t get the chance to feel the loud, profound relief when symptoms are diminished or absent.

When RFK Jr says that “only really sick kids should die from measles” if unvaccinated, this is eugenics. Not only is that completely untrue since we had eradicated the virus thanks to the vaccine, but he’s saying that sick and high risk kids are expendable. This is eugenics, plain and simple.

For everyone who was like “Google search is getting worse,” we were absolutely right.

Have you tried assertively telling the pollen that you don’t consent?

You know in 1970s cartoons when someone’s whites of their eyes are the same color as their skin? Well those cartoons are about me.

I cannot express how important The Muppets are to my family – three generations strong now. For the laughs, for the comfort, for the joy – we THANK YOU KERMIT and the whole gang. Happy 70th birthday – here's to the next 70, and more, since you will live forever!

I am couched up, heating pad on, phone plugged in, belly full of orange pineapple juice, this is the height of luxury. No amount of money could make me more comfortable than I am right now.

The great Jimi Hendrix, with many legendary songs, but only one 45 to ever hit the top 40 and this is it. Bob Dylan composition. youtu.be/OICziGltT24?... #60sMusic #60sRock #JimiHendrix #Playback1968 #MusicSky #NowPlaying

I’m at my all time ugliest any time I’m in a hairdresser’s chair. I didn’t make this rule but I do have to live by it.

You make this joke on the day after Cinco de Cuatro? Wowwww dog

Or: “Even cheeky coke head assholes must submit to the horrifying ordeal of being known”. This movie is so different and so much deeper than I would ever have guessed if I’d have known anything about it ahead of watching it.

My coworker and I chose to be late coming back to work so we could see a trash truck with Oscar the Grouch on the front empty a Dumpster.

Guy selling unofficial merch outside the Sessanta 2.0 show has shirts that say Pacifier, A Decent Square, and Primos.

Habe you ever heard of sleep maxing? Me either but I want to. I want to.

Today I misread this panel in an action comic as: “Slit his human throat”.

I haven’t heard from my very Catholic mother today and it’s only at 9:34 PM dawning on me that it’s probably because she is sad about the Pope.

I said someone had the positive version of a heart attack and the other person said “joyful apoplexy?” and that goes in the band name jar.
