"She heard about people being dive-bombed, where birds swoop down steeply, by corvids in the Spinningdale area"
Classic BBC, they chuck in a pointlessly abstruse word like "corvid" but feel we need the concept of "dive-bombing" explained to us!

Sure but I've never heard the expression "in county". Surely "in the county" at least.

I knew there were lots of street cats, but not that there were facilities for feeding them! 🤯

Wait what are these machines for giving food to wild cats? There seems to be a tray, are they dispensing loose pellets?

I think she's doing a great job. Of continuing to run the Tory party into the ground. Long may she keep up the good work.

I think I can say without indiscretion that the basement in question is No 8.

Sometimes I want a sticker that says "is this meant to be parked or did you just run out of fuel suddenly?"

Even well maintained, those 1950s metal windows were/are rubbish!
On the upside, a pal of mine lives there and found some fascinating builders' ephemera in the basement: discarded packets of Woodbines hardly bigger than a box of matches. #supersizing

The windows are terrible. Seems surprising they haven't been replaced by now.

Those Victorians were surprisingly hand with curved glass panes, weren't they! Must have cost a fortune?

Decades ago they legislated to make cars safer for those outside as well as inside. I just don't understand why there aren't laws about this.
