As I'm talking about gamebooks again, this is still probably the most startling ending paragraphs I've ever seen in a book aimed at teenage boys. They managed to get away with sneaking in 18th century propaganda by the deed and treating it neutrally and didn't end up the tabloids.

Pals dropped in unannounced, so we had a surprise games evening! Courtisans was low pressure, high table talk. Calico mainly involved swearing at our own hex playmats and consoling one another. I also tried a Pluslife covid tester and was so impressed I've ordered one for my home!
