I've not read them in a long while, but the guides in Houses of the Blooded stick in my mind as being broadly good pieces. I'm also a fan of the Questions article in the first EIG zine.

There was a playground bit with a stick person on the back of your hand, you "throw up" and "catch"witha clap while singing:
"Here's Maggie Thatcher,
Throw her up and catch her,
Squish-Squash Squish-Squash,
Here's Maggie Thatcher."
The reveal is a scribble of crushed Thatcher on your palm.

Oh shit thank you. Ribbon Drive is one of my faves of all time. I still pop in the CD from it once in a while! Would you be up for swapping mixtapes/playlists and/or grabbing a game online sometime?

Don't worry, the other person had already pocketed the cards and left me to take the fall.

Jeezo, the full State apparatus had to be brought to bear in order to prevent him from being thought of as The Idiot King after decades of being a laughing stock.

I get it was something missed in translation, but reprint it as "Courtly Plans" and parents won't write it off so quickly.

It is such a family friendly game, so the choice of title kinda throws people off a wee bit. Very strange choice to have made, but here we are.

Yeah, I've played it a whole lot now. It is so easy to teach, play flows very fast & smooth, and it never feels like anyone is locked out. The production quality, graphic design, and simplicity of components are a huge part of that.

That should have been unplanned more than unannounced, as they did text to see if I was in first!

Yep, his website lists those he's worked with. I'm sure folks in his orbit pull a "Nothing is perfect under capitalism", but there's a chasm between not being perfect due to hegemonic conditions and choosing to work with someone who personally provides material support to the IDF (albeit ruefully).

If you want to see what happened to nonviolent protestors in the face of fascist go read what the Nazis did to them. They see your nonviolence as weakness and are laughing at you the entire time. They don’t care about your principles or morals. They cere about power and domination.
