This is my gut reaction to it but I could also see it being completely positive. I'm on the fence. It's dogshit that this is on artists but it never could have been on anyone else, could it? Do you trust Adobe to tell people to try oil painting? Of course not. Your job, if you care about this, isn't to block people using AI, it's to approach them as human beings and encourage them to do more.

The consequence of an art culture that doesn't embrace newcomers is a drought of artists. Regardless of the reason, regardless of intent, if we don't cultivate and transmit our skills, we lose shit.
